Chess Club is open to Grades 1-4. The session is for 6 weeks with no refunds or makeup classes. The classes are held from 6 -7 p.m. in the Woodfern Library and will be curated by Mr. Dewy Calderaro.
The class schedule is as follows:
Thursdays (Intermediate): 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27 and
Mondays (Beginner) 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31.
Please sign your child up for the session based on their skill level.

Funding for "The Illusion Maker Environmental Magic Show" at the Woodfern Elementary School is being provided by the NJ Clean Communities Grant. The purpose is to teach the students in a fun way how important it is not to litter along with learning the many negative ways litter impacts the living world.

Woodfern Polar Express Day is a special event at our school where our Fourth Grade students get to wear cozy pajamas and experience the magic of the beloved 'Polar Express' movie! Our Fourth Grade classes gather together and watch the exciting adventure unfold on the big screen while munching on yummy popcorn and sipping on hot cocoa. Each student also receives a special souvenir—as a reminder of this fun-filled day aboard the Polar Express!

We're excited to announce the launch of our Inkjet and Laser Printer Cartridge Recycling Program! Used inkjet and laser printer cartridges can be dropped off in the recycling box across from the main office throughout the school year. For every cartridge recycled, we will be raising money for Woodfern HSA.
